This Policy explains when refunds apply, how to request one, and the timelines involved. It aligns with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).
1. Cooling-Off Period (Digital Purchases)
Under ECTA, you may cancel an online purchase within 7 days of the transaction — provided the digital product or service has not yet been accessed, activated, or delivered. Once a platform has been activated or access credentials issued, the service is considered delivered and the cooling-off right no longer applies.
2. Subscriptions
- You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle.
- We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing cycle unless required by law.
- Fees already paid for the current cycle remain valid until that cycle ends.
3. How to Request a Refund
- Email [email protected] with your order number and reason for the request.
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days via Paystack.
4. When Refunds Apply
- The product was not delivered or activated.
- The product is materially defective and cannot be remedied within a reasonable time.
- A valid cooling-off cancellation was submitted within the ECTA window.
5. Non-Refundable Items
- Digital products or platforms that have already been activated, accessed, or delivered.
- Custom development or professional services already performed.
- Third-party fees, once incurred on your behalf.
6. Defective or Faulty Products
In line with the Consumer Protection Act, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product is defective. Please contact us so we can resolve the issue promptly.
